Rules of the Otterbay gate
Revised 2 November 2026
Reading Otterbayplay is free and open
Otterbayplay is a reading site about farm, village and zoo games. Everything here can be read freely, without an account, a sign-up form or a payment of any kind. Nothing is sold on these pages. By browsing the site you accept these house rules, which we keep short and plain on purpose.
We may revise these rules as the site grows. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version, and continuing to read after a change means you accept the updated wording.
Our reviews are opinions earned through play
Every score and review on Otterbayplay is the editorial opinion of our writers, formed after weeks of playing each game on ordinary schedules. We describe mechanics we have seen in play or on the publisher’s own pages, and we work hard to keep those descriptions accurate.
These games receive regular updates and events, so details can change after we publish. When you notice something that has moved on, please write to [email protected]. We check every correction and update the review when it holds up.
Visiting the games themselves
Each play button on Otterbayplay opens the game’s official website in a new browser tab. From that point you are on the publisher’s site, and its own terms of service and privacy policy apply to your account, your play and anything you choose to buy there.
Some of those buttons are partner links. They never influence our scores, our ranking or the words in our reviews.
Names, logos and our own work
Game titles, logos and related trademarks belong to their respective publishers and owners, and we use them only to identify the games we write about.
The text, illustrations, layout and design of Otterbayplay are our own work. You are welcome to quote short passages with a link back to the original page, but please do not copy whole reviews or guides elsewhere without asking first.
Treat the paddocks gently
Please use Otterbayplay as a reader would. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, overload it with automated requests or interfere with how it works for other visitors.
The law that governs these rules
These house rules are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Any dispute about the site will be handled under those laws.
If any part of these rules is found to be unenforceable, the rest continues to apply as written.
